The Programme Design and Quality Enhancement (PDQE) Team provides expert advice, guidance and support across the full lifecycle of programme development, enhancement, review and closure. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Learning Experiences and Innovation (LXI) Service, PDQE brings together portfolio development, programme design and quality enhancement to support the delivery of high-quality, market-informed and efficient taught and postgraduate research portfolios. The team works in partnership with Faculties and professional services to optimise the development, approval, review and revision of programmes and modules.
We also provide advice and guidance on the development and approval of postgraduate research (PGR) programmes, including Professional Doctorates.
Throughout the approval process, PDQE works with the relevant University stakeholders and ensures that the appropriate contacts are engaged at each stage. This supports the timely completion of all necessary programme set-up activity following approval, ensuring programmes are fully established and ready for recruitment.
